OUR STORY
Today, PFF stands as a living testimony: prison is not the end of life — it can be the beginning of transformation.
OUR
STORY
Registered on September 12, 2008, Prisoners' Future Foundation (PFF) was founded in response to the injustices and human rights violations experienced by inmates in Zambian prisons after a lived experience. Initially, PFF focused on advocating for education and vocational training at Mukobeko Maximum Prison. PFF has evolved its mission to encompass a broader mandate. This includes advocating for comprehensive justice system reforms and the rehabilitation and empowerment of vulnerable and marginalized community members. By collaborating with the government and other stakeholders, PFF aims to address the multifaceted needs of individuals within the Criminal Justice System (CJS) and extend its support to those facing significant socio-economic and environmental challenges.
